Two Safe Auto Insurance 2009 campaigns included humorous use of Sprocketfuel's Rocket Scientist character. In the original, our scientist Max helps a couple stop bickering at the Bus Stop. Experimental transportation highlights the second spot Tandem Bike as Max aids another troubled couple before speeding off on his rocket-assisted motor scooter.

Later in the year, a second campaign has Max obsessing about Safe Auto's efficiencies to his very confused Blind Date.
Then, in Middleman Detector, he and his assistant Wanda use their unusual technology to ferret out an imposter.
Finally, a delighted Max experiments with sales slogans using an odd mail-order device: the Alien Dialect Simulator.

Ralph Colelli recently directed two more spots for Communica and their client, Bowling Green State University. This third set of BGSU spots revisits the 2003 series featuring on-campus action. Between these campaigns were 2007's heartfelt student testimonials. The new spots feature a student in cap and gown on a bicycle, tooling his way through both campus and his college life experiences. Spots were shot with the Red Camera and posted in full HD for broadcast. BGSU '09 - Cut 2.

Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz was etched into pop culture by Stanley Kubrick in "2001 - A Space Odyssey". Now, both in homage and to illustrate a medical team's tight choreography, Ralph Colelli brought the waltz forward to 2007. Directing an HD spot for award-winning St. Luke's Hospital, Colelli utilized prime lensing to create a narrow depth, cinematic feel. Shot with a high-res Panasonic Vari-Cam & Pro-35 adapter, this digital "odyssey" keeps a warm bedside manner. 5-Star Heart.

Grabbing attention in Las Vegas with a giant hand - crushing coal into diamonds! Sprocket Fuel director Ralph Colelli recently completed 3 consumer spots for Fruchtman Marketing and client, Vegas-based American Gem Society. But with the International Gem Society Conference in town, they wanted more exposure. The solution: a dynamic spot on McCarran Airport's huge video screens. Powerful visuals with ethereal music from L.A. band Dengue Fever, make The Hand a real grabber!
View "Quadraspec" View "Hoosier Hardwoods"
Blood, water, and falling leaf images, shot in super slo-motion using the latest high-speed digital technology, metaphorically represent nano-technology. That's the philosophy underlying QuadraSpec and Hoosier Hardwoods, developed for Purdue University by Hetrick Communications & SprocketFuel director Ralph Colelli. The spots will air during Purdue sporting events.
View "Mother" :60 View "Keisha" :30
